Casey (she/her) is a 2016 graduate of Wofford College, where she began practicing yoga her senior year. She moved to Raleigh after graduating and continued to practice yoga as a tool to cope with the chaos of life post-grad. Motivated by the profound impact of yoga on her mental well-being, her love of community and her passion for serving others, she obtained her RYT200 from Bliss Body Yoga, a local Raleigh studio and began teaching at local offices, fitness studios and various virtual platforms.
Most of her flows focus on mindfulness, self-compassion, and the importance of ahimsa (non-violence/kindness towards self and others). It's important to Casey that all class attendees feel like they belong on their mat and in their community -- she's a firm believer in the importance of mental health, vulnerability and connection for ALL people.
When she's not teaching, you can find Casey working in digital advertising strategy, biking to the farmer's market, reading Brene Brown's latest work or a mystery novel, playing with her kitty Gravy, and almost always listening to music or a podcast!
