Taking Up Space: Strength Training for Larger Bodies
Unfortunately, a lot of mainstream fitness options are geared towards people in thin or straight-sized bodies. This can be frustrating when movements don’t feel comfortable and/or accessible for people in larger bodies. But, it doesn’t have to be this way! Come to this class to explore fundamental strength training movements in an affinity space for folks in larger bodies. You will be able to try out various options, equipment, and props to find movements that feel good in your body. Let’s make fitness work for your body, not the other way around!
