Sufanna is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She has nearly two decades working as a Social Worker and Counselor serving various populations, primarily in healthcare setting, behavioral health/crisis intervention, domestic violence and foster care/youth setting. A lot of her work has been dedicated to working with complex care patients who holistically require both medical and emotional support for life transitioning, life changing or end-of-life situations. Innately, Sufanna focuses on well-being through nourishing the body and mind by ways that serve root causes that affect physical, emotional, and behavioral well-being. While building on her client’s strengths, Sufanna explores all areas that may cause that out of sync situation or unhealthy detachment.

She embraces the issues Women experience throughout life stages and has chosen to design her Counseling services to address critical areas required to regain balance and move towards change. Sufanna especially has a passion for addressing the healing and trauma that stems from the relationships from childhood that leaves us stuck as young and older adults which emotionally disconnects us from family, friends, partners, our children, siblings and colleagues. Her experience working with maternity (pre and postpartum), domestic violence, crisis intervention, relationship issues, anxiety, mood disorders, chronic illness and wellness/life and career coaching has allowed her to create the mindset to empower her clients to liberate themselves for true evolvement.

So come on in for a chat, bring your favorite throw/blanket and step outside of the traditional therapy session by making yourself comfortable, curl up on the coach or just chill on the floor as you explore building a relationship within yourself to start your healing. If things get too heavy, Sufanna encourages her clients to take a walk with her, move around the room to their favorite song, color, guided imagery, or other mindfulness techniques.
