Amy Mueller, BCTMB (she/her/hers) has been a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist for more than two decades. After graduating from Brenneke School of Massage in Seattle in 2003, she went on to become an instructor and taught Myofascial Release, prenatal massage, and Swedish massage amongst other classes. She then obtained her Structural Integration Certification from Anatomy Trains in 2015 and incorporates this into her bodywork toolkit. Amy has a Pregnancy and Postpartum Certification and enjoys working with the childbearing community.

Amy believes that the client-practitioner relationship is a partnership and she aims to create a safe place where her clients can become empowered and work toward their individual goals. She believes in reprocessing the pain signals present with chronic pain with the ultimate goal of being able to listen to the body in a way that enables us to be fully present and engage with life. She holds that manual therapy can help restore resiliency.

Amy has worked in integrative clinic settings and supports the belief that a team based approach to healthcare is crucial to caring for the community and that manual therapy is an essential part of the current healthcare system. She is excited to be a part of the Current Wellness team.

When she is not practicing bodywork, Amy can be found teaching preschool at Little by Little in the Mordecai neighborhood and going on adventures with her fabulous 6 year old daughter, Robin. She loves making jewelry and doing chalk art. If she isn’t out biking around town, she can probably be found at home spending many hours making intricate puppets.
