Carolina believes that health is a family affair; it's easier to meet your health goals when you’re surrounded by others who are on a similar mission, act as a positive influence, and support you. This is why she works 1-1 with her clients, but also encourages the involvement of their partner and family.
Health and wellness have always been important themes throughout her life, having overcome workaholism, depression, chronic anxiety, addiction, insomnia, and an eating disorder in the past. Carolina got the help she needed from wonderful therapists, coaches, and holistic practitioners. Once she was healthy and well, she committed to paying it forward. Carolina was born in Colombia, South America, but spent her formative years in N.C., a state that she proudly calls home. She got her bachelor’s at Appalachian State University and her Health Coaching Certification from UNCG. When she’s not coaching, she works with organizations to proactively improve their company culture, focusing on programs that foster psychological wellness and improve team development.
By joining the Current Wellness practitioner group, Carolina hopes to energize and support you, no matter where you come from or how you identify. She celebrates differences and believes we are all stronger together! She splits her time between Raleigh and Washington, D.C, and is excited to offer virtual coaching and educational workshops to this community.
