Everett (they/them) is a personal trainer, mathematician, athlete, student, educator, and dog dad. Their lived experience inspires them to advocate for queer, trans, and nonbinary folks as well as other marginalized communities in fitness spaces and beyond. Movement has always been a crucial outlet for them, and they have found ways to move throughout their life playing soccer and rugby, rowing, weightlifting, and even exploring the connection between music and fitness through their high school drumline. Having experienced many injuries and body dysmorphia issues, Everett trains with the mindset of helping others find a more positive relationship with their body through movement.

Originally from California where they obtained an MS in biomedical engineering, they acquired a vast amount of knowledge about musculoskeletal biomechanics and knee injury/rehabilitation, however their experience with the biomedical industry made them realize they did not want to continue down that path and transition to a more fulfilling career in mathematics education.

Currently Everett is pursuing a PhD in mathematics at NCSU and hopes to continue to learn and educate in all aspects of their life, from mathematics to movement. They are passionate about fostering an inclusive environment where students and athletes can feel comfortable to explore what ignites their curiosities and strengths.
