Hillary Halpern, Ph.D., LP, HSP-P

Practice Types: Mental Health Therapists

Hillary (she/her) is a licensed psychologist with 10 years of experience working as a therapist. She specializes in supporting life transitions, including early parenthood, perimenopause and midlife awakening, and career changes, as well as personal evolution that comes with treating adult ADHD, anxiety, depression, disordered eating and body image concerns, and complex trauma. Her therapeutic style is relationally-centered and skills-based, meaning that the alliance, respect and collaboration between client and therapist serve as crucial ingredients in the healing process in which she participates. Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) inform the skillsets that Hillary supports clients in building. You can read more about Hillary and her approach to therapy here.

Outside of the therapy room, Hillary wears the hats of partner and parent to three young children. She loves to hike, cook, visit farmers markets, and listen to audiobooks while attempting to create order from the chaos in her house! She considers herself a lifelong student, and is particularly interested in practices that connect mind and body, and integrating social justice into the world of mental healthcare.
