Stretch Therapy
Do you feel stiff after a long day at work? Are your muscles tight from your active lifestyle? Muscle tightness and stiff joints are a common experience for many individuals. Stretch therapy aims to help relieve that tension through a collaborative approach that addresses your specific needs. You can expect to be guided through a technique called ‘proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation’, or PNF, while incorporating breathwork. These dual modalities help regulate the nervous system and help achieve a deeper, more effective stretch. PNF uses assisted resistance and release which allow you to relax while targeting muscles that can be difficult to stretch alone. The combination of PNF and breathwork can be beneficial for anyone looking to improve their range of motion or those seeking additional recovery support from their active lifestyle. While most of the appointment will take place on a table, massage and other tools may be used for additional myofascial release. Clothes that are loose fitting and allow movement are encouraged for appointments.
