Do your workgroup events need more flavor? Want to kickoff a fun weekend with your crew? Join us for a custom mocktail classs!
If the thought of "mocktails" has you thinking OJ and Sprite or something equally uninspiring, get ready to have your drink world turned upside down. Sure, we use citrus or other fruits now and then in our mocktail classes, but through one of mocktail classes you can learn how to include a full palate of flavors to make an interesting drink. Think spicy simple syrups for a smoky alcohol-free grapefruit Paloma, fresh-spring herb notes in a Thai Basil Rickey, or refreshing sour summer fruits in a shrub drinking vinegar spritzer. Our co-owner, Nathan Williams, has been innovating creative mocktails since we opened in 2020 and can work with you to design a menu and experience that best matches your groups needs and tastes.
We custom-create every mocktail class to meet your needs but typically, they are:
- 1-1.5 hours in the teaching kitchen at Current Wellness (but we're happy to come to you if that works better!)
- 2-3 hands-on cocktails made by participants; we typically include both stirred and shaken drinks (with Boston shakers)
- 1-30 participants or more. Our kitchen island seats 12, but we've worked with many larger groups on mixing up mocktail making with other activities (e.g., cooking class stations, crafts, lounging, it all depends on you and your group) to accommodate larger crowds.
- $25-$45 per person, with a minimum fee of $300. (We request a month's notice for programs to have time to plan them with you. If you need a program sooner, an additional surcharge may apply).
