Practice Types: Mental Health Therapists

All of us will experience loss in our lives, and sometimes we need help navigating the impact of our losses. As a grief and trauma therapist, I offer a safe space to unpack and unravel the pain that comes from all types of grief and trauma. With a wealth of expertise and a passion for guiding individuals through challenging times, I am dedicated to supporting those navigating the intricate landscapes of grief, trauma, and loss.

I have honed my skills in prolonged grief and suicide loss, offering a supportive and nurturing environment for individuals navigating the complexities of these experiences. My approach is marked by sensitivity, tailored interventions and a deep respect for each person’s unique journey through grief and trauma. Grief is a normal, natural process and one that takes time. In fact, I would suggest that once we really know grief, we know that it becomes a part of who we are, and forms our lives moving forward. It is my goal to help individuals heal through and with grief, integrating this into life, and finding meaning and joy again.

In addition to supporting individuals in grief, I also treat post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and complex PTSD, offering guidance and strategies for those grappling with the aftermath of overwhelming experiences. My therapeutic techniques integrate evidenced based practices, such as EMDR and somatic work, fostering healing and resilience in clients.

I approach counseling with an unwavering commitment to fostering a safe space where individuals can explore, heal and grow. My dedication to continuous learning and professional development ensures that I remain at the forefront of innovative approaches in grief and trauma therapy, offering clients the best possible support on their paths to healing.

Beyond my practice, I am passionate about advocacy and education in the field of mental health. I actively engage in community initiatives and workshops, aiming to raise awareness and promote understanding around grief, trauma and mental wellness.

Through my comprehensive expertise, empathetic approach, and dedication to my clients’ well-being, I wish to provide support and guidance for those seeking to navigate the complexities of grief and trauma, and find the path to healing. If you are in need of support, please feel free to reach out.
