Intuitive eating is evidence-based
Intuitive Eating was developed by Evelyn Tribole and Elyse Resch in 1995. It is a weight neutral, evidence based model with a validated assessment and over 120 (and counting) studies exploring the benefits of practicing Intuitive Eating.
To name a few benefits, intuitive eaters have lower disordered eating, triglycerides, emotional eating, binge eating, body dissatisfaction, and blood pressure. Intuitive eaters have higher self-esteem, optimism, variety of foods eaten, body appreciation, HDL cholesterol (good cholesterol), interoceptive awareness (ability to notice what your body is feeling and experiencing), pleasure from eating, and life satisfaction.
An alternative to dieting
Intuitive eating coaching will equip you to navigate the jungle of information out there and give you something sturdy to hold on to that is rooted in self care, compassion, and authentic health.
Are you ready to get started?
In early 2022, we are launching an intuitive eating group. Participating in this group will equip you with the tools to spring forward into your own intuitive eating practice.
Over the 12 weeks, you'll be introduced to the 10 principles of Intuitive Eating and given the time and space to explore what they each mean for your unique body in your unique life. It will be a gift to be able to process and practice this work in community with others on the same journey in a safe environment.
This group is for anyone who is tired and weary of being at war with food and their body. With intuitive eating, there is a way to make peace in places that may feel like a battleground. If you are tired of being consumed by thoughts about food, diets, what you "should" do, what the world says your body "should" look like, this group will be a welcome respite to your mind, body, and soul.

Registration includes the following:
- Six 75 minute group sessions (Recordings available if you miss group)
- An Intuitive Eating Workbook
- One 30 minute 1-on-1 follow up session
